Lookout at Kozí mountain
Information
A wooden lookout (15 m high) at Kozí mountain (317 m above sea level) is situated 3 km away from Prudnik town centre. It stands at the place of a former army training ground. The lookout is accessible all-year-long and admission is free off charge.
History
The building is one out of two lookouts built in Prudnik town area in 2009. The construction managed to be built thanks to Prudnik town and European funds. The lookout has got a roofed terrace from which there is a beautiful view to Prudnik and surroundings. There are wooden benches and tables beneath the lookout.
Curiosity
Nearby the lookout, St. Joseph Sanctuary is situated in Prudnik – Las. This was an internment place of Polish primate cardinal Stefan Wyszyński between 1954-1955.
